The Tresa Bay Hotel offers special direct-booking rates to businesspeople and workers travelling on behalf of a company or visiting a local or regional business. The rates are confidential, non-commissionable and may also be used by a participating company’s partners, affiliates and customers.

The FLP S60 shuttle train and PostAuto stops are just a few metres from the hotel, with downtown Lugano approximately 25 minutes away.

Special Business Rates 2027
Valid throughout the year, except during bank holidays, important events, last-room availability and short-notice bookings with arrival within seven days.
Important: Rates are based on a twin-bedded room for single use. A second guest may stay for a surcharge of CHF 40.– per night. City tax of CHF 4.20 per person and night (rate as of 2026) is charged separately. A CHF 20.– supplement per person and night may apply on Fridays and Saturdays.

Practical information for your stay
Parking
Limited hotel parking must be reserved in advance and costs CHF 14.– per night. Public white parking spaces are available around 50 metres away. Ask reception before 8:00 PM about the complimentary prepaid night ticket valid from 7:00 PM to 10:00 AM. Marcadello public parking, by the church, costs CHF 5.– for 24 hours.
Restaurant BAIA
Restaurant BAIA and the bar are generally open for dinner seven days a week. On exceptional closing days, our team will be pleased to recommend nearby restaurants in Switzerland or within walking distance in Italy.
Day use and wellness
Day-use rooms may be available from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, starting from CHF 99.–. The wellness oasis, relaxing pool, sauna, steam bath and meeting room are available subject to opening times and reservation.

Business rates cannot be combined with other accommodation promotions or discounts. Included services that are not used do not reduce the rate. All conditions remain subject to the hotel’s confirmation and may change for future, unconfirmed reservations.
