BELLINZONA

Bellinzona, a pretty town in the heart of Switzerland, boasts an incredibly fascinating historical heritage represented by its three beautiful medieval castles. These castles, known as Castelgrande, Montebello and Sasso Corbaro, together form a UNESCO World Heritage site. Castelgrande, the oldest of the three, dominates the town from a hilltop and has witnessed centuries of history.

The Montebello, with its strategic location and imposing towers, offers a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding mountains. Finally, Sasso Corbaro, the most imposing of the three, is famous for its prism-shaped tower and impenetrable walls. These castles not only represent an important historical and cultural heritage, but also offer visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the medieval atmosphere and enjoy spectacular views.
